Sellers make sure you keep the utilities on! water, electric and gas should be kept until the day after you close. The buyer's have to do the home inspections........Appraisal........... Final walkthrough On my last closing I happened to go to the home right after our offer was accepted to get a photo for the buyer and discovered that the utilities were turned off, the inspection was scheduled for the following day...so I immediately called the Listing agent and thankfully the seller got it turned on on time for the inspection.
